Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, Highmark, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, Geisinger, and Varipro. If we do not accept your current insurance, please ask your provider if you have “out-of-network mental health benefits.” Many do, and in these cases, clients pay out of pocket and then submit an invoice directly to their insurance company to be reimbursed. Superbills are itemized invoices that the clinician will provide you once a month to submit to your insurance provider for possible insurance reimbursement.
What does each session cost?
Once we capture your insurance information, we’ll provide detailed cost estimates. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your health care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who do not have insurance an estimate of their bill for healthcare items and services before those items or services are provided. Self-pay rates are $125 per individual session, $145 per relationship or family session, and $175 per wellness check. Workshop pricing varies depending on the need and will be discussed during the initial phone consult.
